10/100 Ethernet PCI NICs

Signamax Connectivity Systems’ Model 098-1100 Fast Ethernet NWay network cards can turn a typical PCI computer into a high-performance, high-bandwidth, multi-media workstation.

For even higher capacity, the Signamax Model 098-1100S Fast Ethernet NWay network cards, installed in a fast PCI computer, offers high-bandwidth power server performance that's ideal for use in demanding applications such as high-end graphics workstations.

The card's superior processor occupancy performance allows servers in both client-server and peer-to-peer network architectures to function at their highest level. Both models use a standard RJ-45 jack to connect to either Ethernet or Fast Ethernet networks without any need to set configuration.

Full or half duplex operation is also automatically detected. The package includes drivers for all popular networks and operating systems.

100 Base FX Fibre Optic NICs

SIGNAMAX Connectivity Systems’ 100BaseFX Fibre Optic Network Adapter Cards offer you more network bandwidth, better data security, and longer transmitting range. Fibre network adapter cards are the key to a complete fibre-to-the-desktop solution for businesses requiring the utmost in data security. In addition, fibre to the workstation is the answer to Radio-Frequency Interference (RFI) and Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) generated from heavy machinery in industrial applications that cause repeated data resends and reduced transmission efficiencies.

These network adapters are available with ST, SC, MT-RJ, or VF-45 multimode connectors, or SC single-mode connectors at the fibre port. Advanced 32-bit PCI Bus Mastering architecture provides 133 Mbps bandwidth. Compliant with all industry standards; full-function cards include drivers for all popular networks and operating systems including Windows 2000, 95, 98, and NT4.0. The package includes setup program for quick and simple installation.

Gigabit Ethernet NICs

Signamax Connectivity Systems’ Gigabit network adapter cards are used wherever it is necessary to provide Gigabit Ethernet capability directly into a server or workstation. These cards utilize the new high-speed 64/32-bit PCI Bus Mastering architecture and support IEEE 802.1p Quality of Service (QoS) and 802.1Q VLAN tagging standards for complete network optimization.

The model 098-2000SX full-function fibre LAN card supports the IEEE 802.3z 1000BaseSX specification over either 50/125 micron or 62.5/125 micron multimode fibre optic cabling via it's SC fibre connector. The model 098-2000T twisted-pair LAN card supports the IEEE 802.3ab 1000BaseT specification in a Category 5E or better cabling system, using a standard RJ-45 jack. This card also supports 10BaseT and 100BaseTX transmission, allowing its use in networks evolving to Gigabit Ethernet
